National Lottery Grant Award

Thakeham Village Hall is pleased to announce that we have received a National Lottery ‘Awards for All England’ grant of more than £2,000.

This National Lottery funding has enabled the Trustees to significantly upgrade the audio-visual equipment in the Chesswood Room, our smaller function venue, which is ideal for meetings, parties and smaller physical activity groups.

Thakeham Village Hall now offers Chesswood Room hirers, at no extra cost, the use of the following equipment:

1.        An Optoma UHD38x – a 4K UHD projector which can be used at any time of day.

2.        An electrically operated 120” tension system projector screen.

3.        Stereo speakers connected to the projector for fully synchronised sound.

4.         A Sennheiser Ambeo Mini soundbar for use when playing music at a party or in an exercise class.

The Chesswood Room offers great flexibility for meetings and smaller events at a very reasonable price. To learn more about our facilities please contact the Hall Managers.
